About Me ...

I was born in St. Catharines, Ontario. After high school I lived in Vancouver, BC and Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. I returned to my home city and married an old school chum. Our sons, Robert and Mark, arrived not long after and I stayed home to watch them grow.  But in 1987 I suffered a sudden, strange illness that changed me forever. Then in 1994, another strange experience.  I sat with a trance channeler who  told me I'd end my marriage, meet my soulmate and move with him to the West Coast of Canada. This all came true.

The metaphysical has played a large role in my life. Just before my separation, a voice began to dictate beautiful poetry into my ears. I compiled them into a collection entitled, The Clover is Breathless.  After I went to live on my own, a strange entity with a Southern accent dictated my first book, Confessions of a Civil War Ghost. I interwove this story with accounts of my experiences with psychics, channelers and how I met my soulmate, Gil.

After moving to Surrey, BC I finished the book and began another, Black Harvest. I joined a critique group, "The Pen and Inklings", and through the encouragement of several fine women, I gradually learned to edit and have done this professionally for about 4 years.

I have done metaphysical lectures, belong to the Nanaimo Metaphysical Network (I  am one of its original members) and enjoy sharing the many fascinating experiences of my life. In 2006/2007, my partner, Gil and I flew to South America and toured Peru and Ecuador by bus. Upon returning home I wrote To the Moon and Back; journey of the soul. It was not only about the trip but about our relationship, my childhood memories and memories of my past lives.

My sons, Robert and Mark live in St. Catharines, Ontario. Robert is a wine-writer/lecturer and I am personal editor of his blogs, his articles and also of his upcoming book, Kaleidescope, written under his pen name, Robert Julian.

Gil and I just hit our 13th anniversary and I guess you can say, we're into the 'really good stuff'.
